QNB ALAHLI, a subsidiary of QNB Group, the largest financial institution in the Middle East and Africa, has signed a new cooperation agreement with El Sewedy University of Technology (SUT) Polytechnic of Egypt, under this agreement; the bank will finance the construction of an Information Technology Lab at the university's campus located on the Egypt-Ismailia Desert Road.
This protocol comes within the framework of QNB Group's commitment to supporting social responsibility programs in all sectors, especially the education sector, and its keenness to upgrade the education system as one of the main pillars of sustainable development that It’s keen to develop in all countries in which it operates.
It also reflects the bank's efforts to achieve Egypt's Vision 2030 and the Central Bank's strategy for financial inclusion by strengthening the technological education system "Polytechnic model", which plays an important role in graduating qualified cadres for the needs of the labor market.
The agreement was signed by Mr. Mohamed Bedeir, CEO of QNB ALAHLI, and Eng. Ahmed el S ewedy , Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University, in the presence of Mr. Tarek Fayed, Assistant CEO and Chief Business Officer, Eng. Sameh Badry, Chief Operating Officer, Ms. Hanan Al-Rihany, Member of the Board of Trustees of the University, Prof. Ayman Bahaa El-Din, President of the University, and a number of senior officials from both sides.
